Initial leadership is by the PIs – Drs. Helena Mentis (IS), Maria Sanchez (ECEP), and Roberto Yus (CSEE) – with Helena Mentis serving as the initial Director. These three faculty have come together to establish the Center and support the integration of other interested faculty across COEIT and affiliated faculty from CAHSS and CNMS. After the first year, the faculty members will devise a plan for the establishment of leadership positions and rotation of those positions by interested faculty. The first transition will then occur in year two.
